The track measures 5/8 miles on the outside and 1/2 mile on the inside. Banking varies from 12 to 7 degrees on the ends to 3 degrees in the back section. The track is also apparently used for karts. Oglethorpe Speedway Park opened in 1951 and the facility shut down in the mid-60s, but reopened in 1977. 2.
