Closed in 1963, reopened in 1985 as a .125 Mile dirt oval, which hosts some small junior races. 2. chris o posted: 10.03.2012 - 9:45 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I think this track is closed 3. However the Arizona State Fairgrounds still have a grandstand area and a dirt area for demolition derby and smaller motorsport events, maybe its a remnant of the track? 4. But it is easy with teh Phoenix 1952 map and the google earth of the state fairgrounds. Flat as a pancake now. Totally paved over but an easy walk. 6. thog posted: 07.07.2020 - 3:16 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) This track could be listed as "Phoenix Fair" instead of "Phoenix" on the results pages to prevent confusion between Phoenix International Raceway. 7.
