1 Mile Dirt Oval located within the Arizona state Fairgrounds in
Phoenix. Nascar races run in 1951,1955,1956 and 1960. Closed in 1963,
reopened in 1985 as a .125 Mile dirt oval, which hosts some small junior
races.

It appears this track has been largely if not completely demolished and
the land repurposed. However the Arizona State Fairgrounds still have a
grandstand area and a dirt area for demolition derby and smaller
motorsport events, maybe its a remnant of the track?

Outside of Indianapolis, I believe that Arizona Fairgrounds and Syracuse
are the only tracks that hosted AAA Champ Car races before World War I
and after after World War II.

Not sure if it is the inner or outer of the two tracks that show on the
1952 map and it is too late to measure. But it is easy with teh Phoenix
1952 map and the google earth of the state fairgrounds.

Flat as a pancake now. Totally paved over but an easy walk.

This track could be listed as "Phoenix Fair" instead of "Phoenix" on the
results pages to prevent confusion between Phoenix International Raceway.

Was able to outline the track on google earth to best of my ability
