.5 Mile Dirt Oval. Only 1 race has been run in the southern state of
Louisina. In 1953 Lee Petty won the only race. The track was meant to be
for horses, and the track has long been closed. There have been rumors
of track interest in Louisiana, but nothing recently.

Easy to find. It is in the EAST LOT of the LA State Fairgrounds in
Shreveport.

Not too hard to get the exact layout if you overlay the Shreveport West
1956 USGS map.

Was a horse track so probably not banked. Almost like they put the lot
in the infield and left the racing surface intact in turns 1/2
