Also it has been said that Mark Blundell got lost in Phoenix in the days preceeding the last race in 1991 and had to ask for directions. 2. Formula 1 selected this new street circuit as the new home for the United States Grand Prix over Laguna Seca which they thought was too remote. What was F1 thinking scheduling Phoenix in June? 3. However while the British team dominated the win column here there were a lot of good runs by some of the underdogs at this track over the years.
