.5 Mile Dirt Oval. Only race in 1955. Stopped hosting auto racing events
after the NASCAR event. The facility still remain active, for Rodeo and
other events.

Automobile racing was discontinued after the conclusion of the NASCAR
event.

1957 Tucson map from the USGS store shows a common theme, a track within
a track.

The grandstand looks to be the same as in 55 in the NASCAR race.

So using Google Maps and overlaying the 1957 track, you would cross the
S/F line about 1/3 way down (going south) in the stands. Go into 1 & 2
just in front of the white truck, onto the back almost outside of the
holding pens and then straight north and make a symmetrical oval with
the top half with S/F as center.

Looks like nothing to key off except the stands and 2 streets.

Looks like the auto track (and horse track) were totally gone by 1958.
There's a Tucson Rodeo Museum here, wonder if it acknowledges the NASCAR
history in any way?
