Site of the first-ever Formula E electric car race in 2014. This track was set up specifically for that event. 2. Certain sections of this track are wide but others are really thin. 4. bduddy posted: 04.13.2015 - 12:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Length of the track is wrong, should be 3.44 km. http://www.fiaformulae.com/en/calendar/2014-beijing/beijing-circuit.aspx 5. webmaster posted: 04.13.2015 - 7:37 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The official results of the Formula E race say otherwise: https://fiafeumbraco.s3.amazonaws.com/media/460228/03_classification_race.pdf 6. bduddy posted: 05.23.2015 - 6:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Where are you seeing that? The race distance of 86.3 km over 25 laps means that the track is 3.4 km. 7. Chives5150 posted: 05.23.2015 - 6:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Honestly, it's not a great track. The 90-degree turns with chicanes interrupting the flow of each lap really hurt the first race. Hopefully the track can be modified a bit to produce some better racing. 8. Although the nature of Formula E has made for a couple of enjoyable races there so far. It would be nice to see a couple of the corners widened (if possible), but it is the site of the first ever FE race, so will always have a special place in motorsport history... 9. Bummer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
