Some of the bumps and depressions were so big when A1GP raced here rain early in the weekend it resulted in puddles that never dried all weekend. Today the track mostly hosts smaller events. 2. Mitime Motorsports will build a new track in Chengdu however, featuring the first oval in China. CDIC, as it was commonly known, had a few peculiarities. The notorious puddles weren't from rain exclusively; the track itself was built right on the water table so water would seep through the pavement. Grandstands were quite small as well which is fairly common across most Chinese tracks. The kerbs at the chicane were known for ripping off front wing end plates. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
