It was first used in 2015 for rounds of the Formula Masters China and Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia championships. In 2016 this track will become the first in Malaysia to host a round of the V8 Supercar championship. Some small v8 exhibitions were held at the track in conjunction with the debut race in 2015. 2. The Aussie touring cars have a contract for this race through 2019 so it is expected the series will try again in 2017. 3. The races had only a five-car grid with one from each of the Supercars manufacturers at the time (Holden, Ford, Nissan, Volvo, and Mercedes-Benz). Todd Kelly said the track was "craziest" street circuit he'd ever run. The full races have still never come together as of 2019 with 2015 remaining the only year this track was set up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
