Has held the famous Bathurst 1000k race since 1963. 2. Nearly 200 metres in elevation difference between the bottom and the top of the circuit on a 6.2km lap, 23 corners, many with little runoff and a straight where cars hit top speed makes for a very great circuit. The circuit has seen 24 Hour, 12 Hour, 3 Hour, 1000km, 500mi and 500km endurance races all come and go over the years with various series, it also hosted motorcycle races up until 2000. 8. The museum contains a number of Bathurst 1000 winning cars on permanent display. 10.
