A very flat track that I don't have much to say about. It has a very
famous steeplechase course besides the main track.

This was the only track in Australia to host a round of the World
Sportscar Championship. The track hosted a 1000-kilometer race in 1984
(ultimately cut down to 800 by a time limit) and a 360-kilometer race in
1988.

Sandown could still feature on the Supercars schedule in 2021 despite
being omitted from the newly released draft calendar.

Supercars has confirmed it will head to Sandown over the March 20-21
weekend but could still appear at Albert Park later in the year in
support of F1.
