The track featured a Dunlop Bridge with a fast right hand turn underneath it that was one of the fast corners in Aussie motorsport until the Caltex Chase was built at Bathurst in 1987. This track operated from 1966 through 1987. The track hosted the ATCC, the Tasman Series, the Rothmans 12 Hour endurance race, and the 1975 Australian Grand Prix during its years of operation. After it closed it then sat abandoned for 15 years before it was demolished in 2003 to make room for a housing complex. 2. The races in question appear to be counting toward the Adelaide Grand Prix circuit's one instead) 3.
