Many of its regular competitors were Americans hopping the border from Buffalo. This track closed in 1953 and was demolished afterward to make room for what is now the city's Ascot Woods subdivision. The track was already falling out of favor with car racers because of the rise of other purpose-built facilities in the area. 3. It was a horsetrack=flat but on the ground you might be able to figure out a little more of the outline. 4. Perpendicular to the RR tracks that are still there. When I walk this one I will go around Ascot Cir, Southview Ave, Trackview St, Tara Ave adn back to Ascot. 5. Street names Preakness, Paddock, Trackview, Post, Citation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
