Autodrom Most first opened its doors in 1983 and became Czechoslovakia's
first permanent racing circuit when it did. The track became part of the
Czech Republic at the start of 1993 when the country and its former
partner Slovakia split peacefully into two separate countries. Before
NASCAR choose to add the track to its European tour in 2019 the
short-lived European Le Mans Series (an offshoot of the ALMS) had one of
its only races here in 2001.

RaceFanX already alluded to it, but the track location should be listed
in Czech Republic, not Czechoslovakia, which doesn't exist under that name.

This circuit was built on the site of an abandoned surface mine.
