Track closed for regular racing events in 2001. Currently sees
occasional track days.

The original "roval", incorporating a 2.5 km oval plus a ~10 km road
course that was basically out-and-back from the oval. Very dangerous,
and was shortened and gained chicanes over time.

American rally racer ken Block filmed his "Gymkhana Three" video at this
track and in the areas surrounding it, famously drifting his Ford Fiesta
rally car up and down the high banking of the track's speed ring.
