Track is looking at its options to host a revival of the Dutch Grand
Prix, possibly starting in 2020.

Rumor is Zandvoort could return to the 2020 F1 schedule and replace
Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona for a May date. Barcelona has lost
govt support recently, particularly since popular Spanish driver
Fernando Alonso has left F1 racing.

If Zandvoort returns, it'll be the first F1 race there since 1985.

For next year's F1 race. The final two corners Kumho and Arie Luijendijk
will be combined into one 180 degree banked corner. This corner will be
banked at 15 to 17 degrees.

Work has begun on the final corner. A lot of earth has been moved. Saw a
photo on the Formula 1 subreddit.

Next week there will be a special test of Pirelli tires at the new
Zandvoort. Pirelli has built new tires specifically for the banking.

The new circuit has banking at Hugenholtzbocht and Arie Luyendijkbocht.
The banking at Arie Luyendijkbocht is 18° same as Michigan.

Unless anyone can tell me differently this is the steepest banking at an
F1 track since the 20° of the old Caracciola Karussell at the
Nürburgring-Nordschleife in 1976.

Correction they will not be testing the new tires at Zandvoort which is
stupid. They will be testing them at Catalunya. Hopefully they test them
at Zandvoort soon otherwise we could have a 2005 US Grand Prix situation
again.

The track is finished the Turn 3 at Hugenholtzbocht banking is be 18.7°.
It will have to TECPRO barriers. The last corner Arie Luyendijkbocht is
banked at 17.7° and they will be importing SAFER barriers from the US.

From Formula 1:

BREAKING: The Dutch, Spanish and Monaco Grands Prix have been postponed
due to the global coronavirus

(In addition I've read that the Spanish Grand Prix will likely not be
rescheduled and will not be on the schedule next year instead it will
likely be replaced by Miami. Despite the postponement they are beginning
to build the Monaco track.)
