In addition to Formula 1, this track famously hosted a battle of dueling
TV shows about cars in 2008 when the British show "Top Gear" and its
presenters took on their new rivals from the German program "D Motor."
The "Top Gear" guys ended up winning.

Gilles Villeneuve was killed here in 1982 while attempting to qualify
for the Belgian Grand Prix.

"Belgium's second most famous racing circuit..."

The track was built in 1963. It has hosted numerous bicycle competitions
and a motorcycle grand prix in addition to all its four-wheeled
motorsports action.
