It held the race in odd numbered years while Circuit Paul Ricard had it in even years. In its last years as a F1 circuit the series' race cars were clocking with lap times of just over a minute. Today this track is mostly used for club-level races and local events. This is a rare track to have hosted two different national grand prix races. In addition to hosting the French Grand Prix several times it also held the final running of the Swiss Grand Prix in 1982 since circuit racing in Switzerland itself at the time was ban. It hosted a non-championship Swiss Grand Prix in 1975. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
