This track would eventually drop "Permanente" from the name to be just
Circuito del Jarama.

This track was built in 1967, lengthened in 1991, and heavily upgraded
in 2015. Formula 1 abandoned this track after 1981, deeming it too
narrow for its increasingly modern cars, but it remains popular for
sports car, motorcycle, and touring car racing. It hosed the Spanish
Motorcycle Grand Prix in 1969, 1971, 1973, 1975, every year from
1977-1986, and 1988.
