Thirty three years after the proposed Soviet Grand Prix came and went,
Moscow will finally see a street race. The proposed layout is a tight
track with a set of double hairpins, and sits not far from the Kremlin.

This mildly tight, very slippery street course was set up right
alongside many of Moscow's most iconic landmarks including a pair of
hairpin turns right next to St. Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin. The
frontstretch ran alongside the Moskva River with later portions of the
track passing Red Square, Moscow's historic Gostiny Dvor indoor market,
and Staraya Square.

It looks like this track may end up being one of the shortest existing
on this site with just one day of use like Formula E's Miami course.
This track was set to host a second race during Formula E's second
season but trouble with logistical issues like road closures led to its
cancellation.
