The first Zurich ePrix on this track in June 2018 will make history as
circuit racing returns to Switzerland for the first time since it was
ban following the Le Mans disaster in 1955. While that ban remains in
place for most motorsports, minus hill climbs and other time-focused
events, the Swiss government relaxed the ban for more
environmentally-friendly electric car racing allowing the nation's
largest city to host a Formula E ePrix.

The Zurich circuit start alongside the harbor in the Enge district on
the shores of Lake Zurich. It will then race past the Strandbad
Mythenquai and the Arboretum before looping through the surrounding area
back to the harbor.

The pit area for this race was set up in an area paved with cobblestones.
