It's a 2.897 mile back and forth oval with no (or almost no) banking on the chutes and some banking in the turns. Because the track is so wide (59 feet apparently), the banks seem very low, though from what I've gathered it's fifteen degrees. It's got a two mile road course that cuts off half the oval, used by most series. The full road course is a 2.95 mile track that basically consists of the oval with three chicanes. It's used by Turismo Carretera for competition and also for testing. 4. The largest ovals I'm aware of are a few 8.5 mile ovals used as proving grounds. 7. chevyfan98 posted: 09.04.2016 - 1:02 pm Rate this comment: (1) (2) IRP is 6.86.6.86 miles. 8. timothy eklund posted: 10.19.2018 - 12:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I want to see another race on the oval 9. Maybe NASCAR and its strict safety rules could handle a track like this but a full high-speed, low banked oval that's longer than Talladega is a bit too much for most series. 10.
