RaceFanX posted: 08.13.2012 - 3:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Parque Fundidora is a public park with several attractions created by redevloping land that belonged to the Monterrey Foundry steel mill after it closed for good in 1986 (some large portions of the mill, including its bllast furnaces are preserved in the park as a museum). Racing was held on a temporary street circuit set up in the park. This was the site of the Indy Lights' only race outside the United States or Canada to date. 2. RaceFanX posted: 12.24.2020 - 10:43 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) This track had a cool, industrial look to it since the course ran right past the preserved former steel mill infrastructure.
